Jackson, who was born in Gauteng, married and lived in Durban for ten years. This was followed by 10 years in London, before which she was in the financial services industry in South Africa. Interestingly, she is a Leith trained chef and has several international wine certificates.
She is a member of several clubs, including Kelvin Grove, Durban Country Club and the Westlake Golf Club and has many hobbies, including golf, gardening, cooking, bridge, travelling, reading and exercise.
